Testing....the didn't laugh, it just had its mouth open like it was laughing and got frozen... ? Ahh, I see it's already been reported. :naughty *testing*

However, Markos, when I couldn't get Poly IRC to work for quite a while, I tried changing the port to 6666, tinkering around to see if that would work...just two questions about Poly IRC through Port 6666. (Actually, one question.) WTF IS THAT???

(Also, please get Apolyton IRC back up soon...very soon...the withdrawal symptoms are showing... :nonanimatedsmiley

Glad to see still works. It's the only smiley that really needs the animation anyways.

Edit: It quit working , and the "Here's something to think about while you wait" box doesn't show anything.

Yet it is accurate. Now we all can agree that Settler II was worth the cost!

Never had the problem pre settler ii.
I have similar animation problems using Opera.
Yes, I remember many people using opera complaining. Just strange that I changed nothing. Still using Netscape 7.02. Just the server change between i and ii began messing up the animations on my home system.

Then when I've used macs :gag: and ie on macs before sometimes there was no animation. Just curious as to why these animation errors happen. Sounds like Mark knows about it but can't do anything about it.

Looks like a very *cough* primitive *cough* IRCD that's supposed to work as the engine for a chatroom system. Happens to be named Melange Chat Server. Doesn't obey any common IRC commands and neither does it seem to be intended for access with an IRC client.

Markos, just take your time. Mitch can't have such a hurry.

Often when I try to go to the private forums, I need to manually log-in.
Doesn't happen on the public forums, on the private ones
(I asked if others had experienced this to and some have, some didn't)
Not really a big problem, just mentioning it
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

                      • That's just the old information which was retrieved by the settler2 eggdrop before the crash. The information hasn't been updated, so it's still the same as it was back then.

I have opera 7.03, everything is fine. No problems.

                            • Ah, they should try to clear that out, so that we know when it's back up...

I hope they make some form of announcment when they do get it back up and running.

                              • I could say that I'm absolutely sure they either post a news item, forum announcement or a info thread in this forum when it's ready for use.
