I for one think you just like arguing.
Of course, on both counts
But now the murderous dictator has been removed and has been replaced by a benevolent American exercizing freedom of speech.

Is thereno way to control what pop-ups get allocated to the site?
As others have said before: pop-up blockers work wonders, or netscape 7 or opera 7. Both browsers have the ability to stop pop-up adds from happening. THe only reason I even saw the Britney Spears add was cause someone posted into this thread.
And I still haven't seen the gambling add.
BTW, if you think the Britany add shouldn't be supported, I hate to imagine what you thought of the babe threads in the off-topic forum.
The point is that at work I can't control the computer environment. Its a secure government system. I can't install any pop-up killing software and while I can choose to avoid threads with obviously inappropriate images for a government computer system, I can't chose to ignore the pop-ups as I can't even save cookies to control my style. In other words, pop-ups like that make the whole site inappropriate for me to access from work.
Oh well, it means I'll actually have to do some work...

hi ,
, its not going to be secure if it allows pop ups , ....
, its not going to be secure if it allows pop ups , ....
try zonelabs pro
or just clear your cache after log on , ....
have a nice day
Its only for material up to restricted and the whole point is that I can't install anything and I don't have a cache to clear as its all locked away from the users. Oh and the traffic is monitored regularly. Forums just about OK - pictures of scantily clad "women"* defn not OK.
* Usual exemptions apply but I couldn't think of another appropriate term...
Well Taz, don't know what to say but looks like the admakers paid too much for the ad and Mark isn't about to give it up. Maybe you can suck it up and actually do some work at your government job. <--- joke smileys.
