                Just make a lurking DL.

If your co-workers ever get a hold of the account they are not in a position to spoil your unblemished reputation.

A lurking DL? That's like playing basketball without a ball.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

It's so the moderators can track your lurking activities. They like to keep records of which threads each poster is looking at.

Creating a DL for lurking only, that would be a first

Strange, but it does actually solve the problems.

But if you just turn off cookies you wont have the problem of your colleagues using your account anyway.
