Are you employed by Apolyton to write Columns or something

Why are you so dispondant though when newer companies like BHG and Firaxis just brached off from MPS in the first place?

I assume it's because of the nostalgia with MPS and the fact that they made Great Games(tm). Indeed RoN looks promising, but it's not out yet. As for Firaxis, I have played too little of their games to comment, plus they haven't given as much joy in total as games by MPS.

Yes Railroad and Transport Tycoon were indeed great games......along with other greats such as Pirates, Microprose Golf and later UFO and Colonization I spent many hours playing these on my Amiga.

Names like Chris Sawyer disappeared into the darkness.
Well... not exactly. Chris Sawyer is the man behind Rollercoaster Tycoon, I'm sure you have heard something about this little game...
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

                    RollerCoaster Tycoon!

...but it was published in 1999...

EDIT: I don't mean that it isn't a great game, silly men
Has Chris Sawyer done anything AFTER that, that's what I ment.

Ah, RCT, such a great game and so very cute. I love how Chris changed the game in later patches to make the existing cheats and trainers not work.

They did that in The Sims.

I was suckered into buying it. In v. 1.0, the cheat to get $1000 was "klapaucius", but in v 1.2 or something it was changed to "rosebud".

                              Doesn't RollerCoaster Tycoon II count?
