Out of Control pop-ups

I've been gone for a while, but the first thing I noticed when I arrived at the site was 3 different pop-up ads. Way to much boys.

Or have I just been gone so long that I'm missing a simple way to disable them?

Changing your forum style to one ending with Ultra-Special works for me. I get no pop-ups when surfing the forums, although I do tend to get a couple when I click on a re-direct link.
