  • Problem with "Last Page"?

I've noticed that if you click "Last Page" that instead of going to the last page for whatever style you have it goes to the URL for a a post. I haven't experimented but I assume that what it's doing is going to the last page for people who have it set for 10 posts per page. Either that or it tries to go to to the last read post, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't do this because I've gone to threads I think I haven't read and it takes me to a post in the middle of the last page.

    I'm set at 50.

Just wondered if it was intentional, I'm wrong, or it's a bug.

It targets the last post in the thread, and opens the page that that post occurs on. It points your browser directly at the last post, and then loads the rest of the page (images and such) which cause the page to move around a bit, so you end up looking at around the middle of the thread.

I guess this also explains why when using emails from 'Poly you sometimes get placed somewhere other than the post that prompted the email.

      I've always wondered about that.

Woud it be more intuitive to figure out the last page of the thread and link there? Or is it just incredibly easy to do this? I'm saying this because I dislike it pointing to a post especially with my 50 posts/page, meaning it may jump a looong way.

You just need to hit the "home" button on your keyboard, and your browser will now point to the top of the page.
