  • Quick curious: What happens to my post count if threads are moved to the OTF?

If I post in a thread here, and it's moved to a forum where posts don't count (e.g. the OTF), does my post still stand in the post count or does it get not counted?

    Just a query

Your post count will remain intact (e.g. if you had 100, you will also have 100 after the thread is moved), unless the post count statistics are recounted.

It will remain the same. Any additional posts once the thread has moved to the OTF won't count.

I thought you got negative posts for making an off topic post in an on topic forum.

If that were (consistantly) true, many people would have a negative post count.

Are posts (still) deleted if an on-topic thread is deleted?

Yes, your post count is decreased when posts are deleted if they have been counted into your post count.

The only time post counts stay the same when posts are removed is from a prune without a post count update.

/me hopes in the future Ming "prunes" threads rather than deleting them.
Well, the ones I post in, anyway.
