"Mark this forum as read" option

If Poly already has this, then sorry, but I haven't seen it

Basically, you click on a link after you finish reading a forum, and on the main page the light bulb next to the relevant forum is put out, until there is a new post there.

I'd prefer it over the time stamp.

I would really like to see the time stamp removed and left so that threads remain unread until the thread is viewed or otherwise denoted as read.

I concur. As it stands right now, I revisit a thread thinking there is a new post (because it's highlighted or in red) only to find out that this is not the case. It really is a pain.
