Not sure if it's called url mapping though.
The idea is that you can acces each forum through a simple url, one that can be remembered.
The current url for a forum is something like this:
http://apolyton.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=31
Where each forum has it's own number. This construction makes it hard to go directly to the Other Games forum, i have to go to apolyton.net/forums first, and the click the OG forum link.
What i'm proposing is that when i type, for example, "apolyton.net/forums/og" i go the to Other Games forum,
or ".../ot" for the offtopic, and ".../c3g" for the civ3 general forum.
Do i make any sense here?
