Do you actually bother cleaning it? Isn't there a danger is disturbing dust that damages some important component?(+1)Comment

Cleaning the dust from your computer can actually be good. Dust in your comp's fans will cause the fans to die sooner, and prevents them from reaching their maximum rpm, so they don't remove as much heat from your case. I generally vacuum the fans, get rid of the dust sitting on the bottom of the case, and any other dust I can move by blowing on it.
As long as you do this while the case isn't plugged into the wall and you don't hit any of the cards inside your computer, it is fairly safe.I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).Comment
