Well, stats do create an unsavory, clique-ish sort of elitism amongst some of the more senior posters... everyone here has titles, post counts, and now "hit points" and such.... not to mention that the privilege of a custom avatar only comes after 500 posts (not much for active long-timers, but a veritably insurmountable goal for most everyone else).

I wouldn't say 500 is insurmountable, but a lot of post-counts for the 99/2000 bunch come from the OTF, which explains their rather high Post Counts.

If you want to hide in a mountain that's fine by me. Say hi to OBL.

            ¿OBL?

So... If taking up defensive positions in a mountain make me like OBL (thanks for the double-reply, appreciate the bold)...
Does chasing him around make the US like the Civ2 AI?

The attack loop does bear a passing similarity.

No, it's like trying to chase down a barb leader through rough terrain with your move=1 units.

Yes, and just when you are finally about to catch the barb leader ( ), he disappears like magic.

But you tell your citizens he is dead so they don't feel bad.

Then you can tell them no, he's really alive whenever you wanna give that defense/aerospace/biotech industry a little boost... Like a market for all that smallpox vaccine.
