Only two deserving to be there are Medal of Honour: Allied Assault, and Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Barry Spotter? 4 Sims? Bleh... that chart is about as useful as a hog-tied alamo.

Just goes to show how crap the games market is currently, when they are the best games available.

          /me continues to play Thief.

              EA are doing A-OK.

Six out of the top ten.

Well, the reason why EA manages to take six seats out of 10 is that they own now many old game studios and they also publish a numerous number of games. So all the honour should go more like this...

                  The Sims - Maxis
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - 2015
                  Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone - err... I don't know
                  Neverwinter Nights - someone again

I read in PC Gamer that If you'd bought the Sims and every add-on you'd have spent £120 so far. That doesn't bear thinking about.

And that list is much different to Apolytons favourite series.

Some marketeer I talked with the other day said it was a crowding out effect: while game sales to men get spread out over a plethora of titles, the Sims and their countless Barbie incarnations is all the girls have - so even if men still dominate heavily in overall game purchases, the Sims still get a prominent position since their entire demographic share goes for them. Might stand to reason.

As for the games, Medal of Honor and Neverwinter Nights are the only two games that deserve to be there.
"The number of political murders was a little under one million (800,000 - 900,000)." - chegitz guevara on the history of the USSR.
"I think the real figures probably are about a million or less." - David Irving on the number of Holocaust victims.

I hope this is true, because I'm about to quote it in my 'I hate the sims' thread.
