50 bucks is a bit steep for a board (bored) game... especially since i've already got all my christmas gifts...

Here's one more poster looking for a thread/forum on the board game. A group of us at University in Canberra over summer bought it for about AU$175 and played a game last night. We didn't finish it in 6 hours and most of the 6 of us are civ players also, so we kinda knew what we were doing.

Amazon US won't ship this game to England. I have got my family to splash out for me (for mothers day as all Christmas presents already got!) and have got it off Ebay for $41.99 + postage + import duty!! Since $41.99 was just over £26 and the only place I could find in England who stocked it were selling it for £49.99 I won't be too much out of pocket - just the import duty! It had better be good!
