  • DanQ: You really do like using lots of ABBREV. DY. IFIA.

I'm sorry, but does anyone else find the news headlines kinda funny when every other one has an acronym or abbreviation you don't understand?

My favorite was "GSPOT" for Gamespot a while ago.

FP: those are very badly chosen words my friend

At least Dan knows where it is
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

I never noticed that. Maybe I'm naturally used to acronyms and abbreviations.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

Okay, that makes sense, just a coincedence that FrustratedPoet post before you.

Bad place to use that Abbreviation.

All abbreviations I use are explained in their corresponding news items, especially useful if they are not immediately understood in the headline. It's always important to read a news post and not just its headline to understand the context in which the latter is being used. This procedure in writing is common.

The shortforms in question are not intended to be humorous, but sometimes can have that affect in the minds of some such as the one you mention above.
