Official Apolyton CS Stella Polaris chat

    25th October (Friday), 22:00 (10 PM) UTC

Yes, it's finally here. The first official ACS chat event about the "alternative" TBS game Stella Polaris. The chat will be held on the day and time stated above, but here's a few details about the chat.

The chat will be held in the Alt.Civs chatroom (FYI: can be accessed by first entering the main chatroom and then selecting Alt.Civs from the upper frame to the right) of Poly. It's a public chat and you can ask any of your questions related to the game and project. It's also an opportunity to meet persons involved in the project and a time for general chatter related to Stella Polaris. The two official Stella Polaris Development Team representitives are Blake (Project CEO and Coding Manager) and Rasbelin (Project Manager, Community and PR Manager, Editor). No other official guests have been so far confirmed, but in the case there will be ones, I'll post an update.

In the case you don't know what all this is about, please see the Stella Polaris forum of Poly for more details. And for those who can't attend tomorrow, I can already report that there will be an another StP chat in the nearby future.

I want to appologise for the very late public announcement, but I received confirmations about the chat today due to some delay.

In the case you want to know when the chat actually is in your current local time, please do check it at time and date.com (this link will show you the converted time).

Thanks for your interest! Hopefully I'll catch you up at the chat tomorrow.

Universal Time = exactly the same as GMT but not described by a UK centric timezone

Well dammit, it's meant to be described by a UK centric time zone. That's what being an ex-world-leading-imperialist-non-entity is all about.

        GMT!

Who is this woman Stella Polaris you refer to?

            GMT!
Its better than "Zulu time" which the military use - its not as though the Zulus did anything to warrant the name.

Its also amusing that the Greenwich is not actually on GMT for more than half the year.

Anyway - back to the topic damnit.

I think this thread would have been better off topped and locked.

              IW,

              UTC = Co-ordinated Universal Time

              PH,

nah, it's not a woman. Stella Polaris (in Latin) = Pole Star (in something spoken where PH lives).

              Sag,

I allready suggested that it would have been topped, not closed, but it's up to Dan and Markos. This thread is the only one open as the point was that you could ask your questions here.
