Why not join CivFanatics, Apolyton CS and other sites that gives free services by using a login and a password?

So are we talking about having common logins on Apolyton and Civfanatics? I'd imagine that'd take a rather large amount of work on the databases to get them to work properly.

I'm not sure what is being proposed at all.

in effect doing what he suggests wouls turn all the boards into just one board, and the individual identity of all would be crushed by the largest board (us ) i think that the smaller boards would be abandoned, and IMO, that would be a bad thing since each board contributes different things to the civ community

We become the Borg board. Now that's fun.

Too much work for something that does little to help the community.

The only thing is that I don't see what the real benefit is. I'm more than pleased to have different user accounts for ACS, CFC, CGN, GC and SPF. And IMO it's also a question of community identity.
