But wouldn't the local national dividion be cheaper than shipping from the USA? e.g Amazon UK cheaper than Amazon USA.

Also people are more likely to buy if they can buy it in their own currency (for various reasons).

but our main goal now was to show only to the US/Canada visitors the Real Media ads, as that's a term of our contract with them

beyond that, since we're affiliated with Amazon UK and Amazon Germany, i think we could have banners from them....
