Yet ANOTHER Forum Problem

Oddly enough, bugs seem to be rampent nowadays.....

Anyway, I got on today, and noticed that nobody has an avatar, not even the mods. I checked my prefs, and show avatar was "yes". I really have no idea what's goin on.

Is this on my end, or is it a server-side problem?

Markos had to disable all avatars in order to ease the server load. This means no avatars are now in use. I hope the situation will be back to normal during the weekend.

i *think* its because of the traffic caused by the PTW chat

PS Markos, why not to limit avatars' size in order to made server works properly? My two eurocents.

And what's the deal with that chat thing anyhow? Can't we keep on IRC? I like how Markos is trying to improve the site but I think he is going overboard with this.
