Why is it that of all the quotes, the ones I want to read are never accessable(sp) when I hit my browser back button?

That was the whole point of this thread.

My mistake, see Mozilla has no problems with this. I guess whenever this discussion comes up again I will simply bring this up for a reason to use Mozilla instead of IE.

This is a work computer, so I pretty much have to use IE.

          Quotes between posts

They load for a while only and often I'm not able to read them until they disappear. Correct it!

So you would prefer that you see these quotes than getting on with your posting behavior?

Seems that the quotes are more important to you then they should be. THey should only be something to look at if you have a slow connection and need something to hold you over until the server has processed things. Other than that, quotes are nothing.

You can press back, and then click on the pause button. Useful when it works.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Quotes are the meaning of life, a condensated wisdom.

Somethimes, a quote is something you've never read before, and you want to capture it so you can either enjoy it more thoroughly, or else find the original source and read that.

If a spot a long quote, I'll hit the stop button then and there (not pause, STOP), and repeatedly. My post is already well on its way (or else the quote wouldn't have popped up in the first place), so all I'm doing is giving myself a little exra work to get back to the page.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Why not remove most of the nerdy StarTrek quotes from between posts?
"I'm so happy I could go and drive a car crash!"
"What do you mean do I rape strippers too? Is that an insult?"

Some of those are okay. I'd rather have the painful joke quotes removed.
