Pop-up ad

I remember over a year ago, when Apolyton set up an ad to pop up everytime you opened the website.

After much protest from many Apolytoners, I am wondering where the protests are this time around.


I find it very awkward and a pain-in-the-ass to have an ad pop up not only everytime I first open Apolyton, but many times, it pop-ups for everytime I go back and forth between links on Apolyton.


So, who would like to see this wasteful advertising go?

US visitors will be seeing some new ads, the result of our agreement with an ad network

it seems some of the new 468x60 ads also serve pop-ups

if you see that you get too many of the new banners that create pop-ups, you can now switch to the special styles.

these styles(which apply only to the forums) now carry apolyton-hosted banners and give a single pop-up every twelve hours.
