  • Question about page-numbering

If a thread consists of more pages (let's say 8)
it looks in the forum like

blabla bla bla bla (page 1 2 3 4...last page)

if you're participating in a discussion, you most of the time want to go to one of the last pages. (say page 7, since that's the one I read last)

I do have to click on the 'last page' though, and than get back to page 7.

is it possible to reconstruct it into:
    blabla bla bla bla (page 4 5 6 7 8)

people who are new in the discussion can click on the subject to get into page 1.
If you remove the '...last page' line there's room for more page-numbers.

    thanks in advance,

    Great idea

I have no clue if that type of change is possible without a lot of work... but it sure would make life easier

Considering how bigger resolutions nowaddays' users are using in their monitors, space is not an issue.

In my forum I put the page-numbers one line below the thread subject. I'm not sure if Markos thinks that's a good idea (look at http://www2.plompweb.net/forum.nsf to see what I mean. username: Guest password: Guest) (you might want to register as well )

              Poor Solver.

I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Yeah, some said so about me, and my monitor is currently the most famous of Apolyton .

Solver, one day we might all get that frustrated with your monitor that we'll all donate $10 to buy you a new monitor

Hey, 10$ from 20 thousand users doesn't seem a bad idea to me! I'll buy myself a Pentium 3 GHz with GB RAM, but leave the same monitor .
