Rezoom it on your viewer program to be smaller, and then PrintScreen. , and paste it in a new file, cut the avatar from the screenprint, and then paste again in a new file, the size of the avatar you've just copied.

Good lord! I would say any basic image editing or viewing tool with basic editing capabilities is more than fine. I recommend the freeware image viewer IrfanView 3.75 that also has basic editing features, inc resizing. No spyware or built-in ads.

That would increase load-times for everyone on the site. Considering how long it takes for dial-up users, that is not such a good idea.
