  • E-mail notifications won't turn off...

Am I the only one having troubles NOT getting notifications in my e-mail as soon as someone has posted in a thread you have subscribed to?

I had it on in the beginning, to check it out, but turned the option off later - however, the e-mails come dropping in anyway.

Go back and update your options again. Sometime, strange things happen.

Oh... and moved to the communtiy forum from the OTF.

Are you auto-subscribing to threads you post in? Subscribed threads also send emails.

They will eventually go off. At first they didn't seem to go away when we converted over. Even after I updated my options properly.

        But they eventually went away.

IIRC you get emails from all threads that are posted in BEFORE you turned off the email notification even AFTER you've turned it off... which can mean hell on earth if you post in the OT forum.

You can end all that by going in an unsubscribing to all threads. It's worked for some other people.

Tried that now. Hopefully I will know more sooner or later.

I'll unsubscribe to everything if it doesn't work.
