      *yawn*

What an interesting and inspiring discussion this tiny little question caused. Looks like every Apolytoner has a version on this. Spam, spam...

Anyway I assume Solver's version on this "dilemma" could be the right one, but I'm totally confused now...

Apparently the date is May 22, 2001. At least that's when Ming has gotten tons of questions on the subject, and noticed it himself - most probably, then, that's the date.

Just finished checking 6 months of the year 2001's postings ( ) in the Poly forum. Looks like that date was correct.

The sad thing about this is that I started to post in the OT forums a few days or weeks after this change.

But at least there is the Community forum...
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

                  Wasn't it December 2000?
May 2001? I thought It was dec 2000... (Earlier the 2001 was a mistype.) Oh well, the forum search engine never lies... sigh.

I had to check 6 months of postings just to make sure that it couldn't have happened earlier that year. So who did it more thoroughfully?

Well, I didn't review/search any posts in Off-topic or this forum at all .

DarkCloud, in Dec 2000 we were still using UBB, and those days OTF posters gained posts. Just BTW, Area 25 took place in Oct 2000. Shame for the Apolyton statistican not to know it .

I remember it well....that coincided with the launch of the first CGN. We also had an influx of refugees from the episode, and numerous anti- AH threads.

I miss UBB too....life was simpler then... *sigh*

The exact date, 25th May 2001, is also found in the FAQ (stupid ol' me, would have beat Solver by looking there ).

XX) What are the limits in posting in the Off-Topic forum? (added with v.2.2, 25/May/01)
                          1) Posting does not increase your post count
                          2) You can only start 2 threads per day

Markos is slow on adding FAQ items, it was added 3 days too late. Staff room contains the proof that date is may 22nd.
