Just a bid...
That could be used for evil...
One person could announce that they want to buy something here at x amount of dollars and we could all go and bid on it, then let him win- netting apolyton a fair amount of money
(I love dreaming up scams )

Wait... so we don't actually have to win, just make a bid?

It would also drive away 90% of our user base. Since they'll figure that if you need a credit card number, you need to pay for Apolyton. Not to mention taht many of us don't have credit cards because our income revolves arround allowance, odd jobs and petty theft (LD just joking)
Hmm... excellent, I could bid on stuff I know I won't win and make Apolyton money! (How much do we get per bid?)

Yeah. Requiring a credit card for Apton would suck... I like my DL, but I don't really use it for fear of being banned.

Don't think that you can go and make 50 registrations at Ebay, they need your credit card.
Actually, they don't need your credit card but your account actually needs to be active before Apolyton gets $10 (or whatever).
After that, if I understood correctly, Apolyton gets money everytime you bid and also everytime you actually buy something (I'm guessing Apolyton gets more money when you actually buy something).
I already have an account. I have already bought about $100 worth of stuff.

OK... I might do that some time. I actually have bought stuff from eBay before, and made plenty of unsuccessful bids, so

I'm feeling a bit silly, because I don't see this eBay search thing.
