    Checking image size is easy in PHP thanks to its image functions.
    Oversized images can then be resized or denied.

        p.s. if you're doing it on PHP (I can't view the images so they provide no fclues), refer to http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php . Other languages probably also have similar functions, Google for the documentation.
