sometimes the "last posted by" is not updated

I've noticed this a couple times now. Happens rather infrequently. But definitely happens. For instance I posted at 12xx on Vel's Societal model tjhread. But the forum view of Candle Bre doesn't show me as last post. I refreshed a couple times.

Anybody else seen this?

I think it´s a problem with the database. I get that infrequently also.

Yes, it is when the database gets overloaded sometimes, and it down't try again after that.
