Mark,
I could try smaller fonts, but I seriously doubt it would work. Almost everybody gets presybopea as the get into their 40's. Even in your 30's most people can't used very small font. I know it sounds strange but its true. The fonts don't cause me any problem on the rest of the net. Also, please realize I'm on a laptop. So the screen is small. (When you look at the page views.)
No change in the scalers, mark. I think the problem is with the forum jump box and the quick reply box. They both seem justified to the right and stick out well past the thread text box. Take another look at the first screen I sent you. Seems like it would be easy to move them to the left and justify them with the edge of the thread text box.
Take another look at "bottom right". All of the poster comments fit the screen fine. And are on the left. It's the froum jump and the quick reply box which stick out to far. Must be hard coded wrong or something. If you just justify the right edge of them the same as the right edge of the poster comment box, the problem will be fixed. Won't hurt anyone else either.
What version of IE you using? I just got out IE and messed around with it and it all fit under 800x600 resolution. And no, labtop should not make a difference. So the only thing I can think of is that maybe it is because your using an old version of IE that is not supporting some code on the site. Unless Markos has some other idea,

Regardless, I think the issue has to do with the coding for the poster text as opposed to the forum jump and quick reply boxes. The forum text is formatted so that it fits in my screen. The forum jump box and the quick repply box don't. I bet there is something about how they are coded that is different.
I have Windows XP, so I expect my IE is pretty new.
No other sites give me this issue. Just Poly. The pages here are rather complex and have evolved over time. I think there is some type of coding issue that gives me this problem.

Tniem, what sort of font do you have installed?
I have the standard XP fonts installed plus some. But I have the first choice for Apolyton which you should have on your computer - Verdana. IE is set to display Latin fonts.

It is just weird because when I tried it it worked with IE, so I just don't know.

Yeah, you have 6.0, which is what I used for the test.

Well that can't be true. There are other sites that are designed tobe viewed at 1024x768 and have to have a scroll bar at a lesser resolution just to be seen, you just don't visit them.
Two quick questions. Is IE maximized on your screen? If it is not then that could be a problem? Second, if you were to use smaller fonts just for a second does that stop the scroll problem? It logically would fix the problem but if it doesn't it might help Markos solve the problem.
