I find myself replying to post quite often, using the quote feature to get text I'm replying to pre-pasted in the edit widget. However, there are some problems associated with this:
1) If you want to use the text style inidcators (bold. italics aso) it invariable pastes the styled text at the very end of the text widget, not at the current insertion point. This goes for smilies as well, of course.
It would be very nice if these could happen at the current insertion point instead of at the end of the text. Any chance of that happening?
2) When you reply to several blocks of quoted text you end up with typing a lot of QUOTE and /QUOTE (I omitted the brackets here) to separate their comments from yours. I'd be nice if you could paste thes to in from buttons just like smilies, although to be useful that'd have to happen at the current insertion point to. I've tried to get this to happen with the Close Current Tag button, but it doesn't seem to work.
Any chance of this getting in? As is I find it easier and faster to reply to different parts of the same message in several posts, quoting the relevant bits in each...
