  • Did we just experience a small Y2K bug?

Apolyton came crashing down with DB and connectiviyy problems for some 10 minutes around 10 PM GMT.

This is wierd since the site has been working perfectly on the new server. And now it is working excellent again.

    What gives?

A small glitch? A hickup? Someone forgot to change his underwear?

    Siro, et al.:

Well, this was the message I received:

Warning: Too many connections in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/forums/admin/db_mysql.php on line 40

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Too many connections in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/forums/admin/db_mysql.php on line 40

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database. Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.
An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.

Btw, I didn't know that the apolyton logo was incorporated in their new tileset it seems to be spread all around the map

            ROFL

I guess you should then award Civ 3 with it's own foru.... oh well I guess you already did that.

I think this can be locked now.

Just a small point - in the error message it refers to "mail to the Technical Staff" but if you attempt to use that link - the email address is bad!!!
