Do we need a gamedev forum?

i was, thinking, every once in a while, someone on apolyton decides to start their own game project to create a game they like, for example Candle'bre, but also a more recent one called OpemMoO, woudln't be easier if these threads could be opened in a Game Development forum here at apolyton.
It would be perfect for ideas like these, but everyone that has general questions about game development could ask them there. This would allow for a more overseeable discussion, where creators can use more threads for their project without going off topic in their current forum. and maybe encourage "Apolyton games"

This forum would probably be placed under Miscellaneous.

what do you think, yes, no, yes, no...come on, make up your mind already and vote.

hmm, maybe it should be renamed then, coz before i posted i off course looked at the forum names to see if something like this already exists...i didn't think Alternate civs would be it...

/edit and IMHO it doesn't look like a "Ask your tbs-gamedev questions here" type of forum, more like "post other civ projects here", but that's my impression..

As long as it is a civ game it fits under Alt Civs. Otherwise yu'd have to go to other games... (but then maybe 'Poly isn'th the best place to keep discussion.)
