  • You know what we need? Overlined text!

I mean, we got bold, and italicized, and underlined that no-one uses, but you know what we need? Overlined! Text that looks like someone wrote it, then crossed it and wrote something else.

"Stefu, you moron!" you might ask. "We have delete button! What would we need this for?" Why, for purposes of humor, naturally! What would be funnier than suggesting you originally meant to say something and then changed it to something else? Well, monkeys, for example, monkeys in tuxedos, certainly, but that's not the point. For instance, something Provost Harrison might say:

"Tonight I'm having a date [o]with my hand[/o] hot blonde I met at pub last night."

Well, scratch that. Provost knows we wouldn't believe him, anyway. But you get the idea. Possibilities are endless!

S. presidency

Yes, a [strikethrough]strikethrough[/strikethrough] font would be handy.

Don't you mean strikethrough. Not overline.

                      <strike>Well, I'll be buggered with a fishfork!</strike> That's very interesting to know.

Still, it would be good if admins made it simpler.

                          <strike>/me is testing</strike>
                          <strike>Yep</strike> Nope
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

<strike>Apparently</strike> HTML takes precedence over the /me remark

More to the point, I guess /me does not work unless its at the beginning of a line.
                            /me does one final test...

/me does indeed not work if it isn't at the begining of the line
                              /me knows that though.
