Since when is First Name a required field in the profile?

Hmm, didn't bother me before but now I've filled in a name I can indeed not remove it anymore. Can't say I really mind but I guess that ought to be fixed.

Actual I find in in my profile under Additional Information, but I have no use for it as it doesn't add any additional information to my profile, but it is still interesting why Marcos added it.
