Problem with pictures

When I posted some pictures in a OT-thread it didn´t work, then it did. Then I saw them, the I didn´t, WTF??

I took them down (no use wasting space...) It was in the "The vain in Spain thread".

I use IE 6 on W98SE, I also have problems when I try to link to files on a remote server (the same server as my pictures) maybe it´s the remote server that´s ****ed up? But I see the pictures if I enter the URL in the adress field in the browser

This may have to do with your account there - some webspace providers do not allow direct linking to other file types than *.html (of course, there pages can contain pics, etc, but you probably can´t link to them directly from here). In this case, Markos cannot help

I´m not sure why it works then, when you paste the link in your browser´s adress field, but similar things happen often, e.g. when you try to link to pics or zips on webspace provided by geocities, xoom, etc...
