Just take down the FAQ
what purpose does it serve? the noobies don't read it and violate sections IX and XI constantly, and ask about section XVIII almost as often while the vets already know all the important details, so why not take it down to save valuable HD space?

well there seem to be 2 different questions.
You have heard whether I have read the faq.
Basically the law of the land has to be printed somewhere for it to be referred to and enforced.
Because then the mods can just make up whatever rule they want for banning people. Oh wait, they do

it's not comprehensive (it can't be) and people constantly ***** about the rules that they don't bother to read anyway, so it'd just be easier to say "cause we said so" (which is pretty much what is done now) without the wasted space of the FAQ.Comment
