    if a thread get moved to the OT do those posts no longer count?

    how about if a thred is moved from the OT do those posts now count?

    I believe the answer to both questions is "yes"...

    If a thread is in the OT, no post counts.

    If it isn't, then there are post counts.

    Seems fairly straightforward to me.

      I'll try to be clear about this...

      Once a post is made in any forum with the exception of the OTF, it counts. Nothing (with the exception of a PCR from a mod/admin or a data base/system error) will change that.

      Even if a thread or post is deleted, the post still counts.

      If a thread is moved to the OT... any post made AFTER it was moved, does not count.

      If a thread is moved to another forum from the OT... any post made AFTER it was moved does count.

      It's all a matter of where the thread is when you post.

        i'm sure that ming is right.

        changing a post from count to not-count would be beyond a pain in the ass to do manually and while i'd imagine it'd be possible to do with scripting, why bother? i'm sure Mark and Dan have far better things do and bigger issues to deal with
