The only people who make it onto my "ignore" list are those I consider to be "background noise". People who I don't think ever add anything constructive or entertaining to threads, or are just so predictable that I don't think there's any point in seeing anything other than a blank space with their name next to it.

To be honest, I have ME threads on my ignore lists, so I didn't know that.

Did BFB say anything?

Why are ME threads on your ignore list, SD?

And how do you do that?

Because they are thoroughly uninteresting to me.

I don't click on the link.

How about Buddy-list top ten?

Publishing an ignore list info might be somewhat questionable.
(I have none on my ignore, but several on my buddy)

So, how about a Buddy-list top ten?
Adding someone to buddy-list is a small token of apriciation to that persons postings/doings - so why not see who's on the most popular list.
(Though you and Dan might be quite high on that list )

Did using the feature tell you that, or is it in the much vaunted FAQ which I never read.

I always wondered: does having people on your buddy list actually do anything useful or is it just that - a list of people you like a lot?

You can do do bulk PMs to your buddy list.

OK, the mass bulk PM was already mentioned.
I use it mostly to see who's online right now.
Also it's easy to just click on the persons PM, whom I want to send a message to.

Currently I have 35 "things" on my list and most of them I don't like that much , but I'm interested in knowing when they are online. (Wanna read what they have to say etc.)

I at least like the buddy list - it's a good spying tool for me
