  • What is going on? Various posts and threads of mine seem to have disappeared?!

I noticed in the Dutch Apolyton Meeting 2002 thread (OT) that my post has disappeared, and I am sure those of other people too. My thread in this forum has disappeared about the absence of the search feature. This is weird.

Think it has to do with their switch over. As all of the stuff I posted yesterday (?) morning is gone.

'tis a pity. I liked yesterday's postings - today's have just been either non-existant or bland and I feel asthough there is a gap to be filled.

I was tempted to - but most of the things I replied to are also gone.

            I hate this!

It's not like losing one or two pages of text on a word processor because you forgot to save...

...we've lost a complex of discussions.

How are we supposed to go on with the half-finished threads? It seems really strange to me...

It looks like random theads and posts have disappeared. Including some of mine.

Well, I think everything is lost that has been posted since the last reopening...what a pity

But perhaps we get it all back when poly is moved to the old server again?

'Random'? Seems pretty systematic to me.

They copied the files over from the old server to the new one some time ago, while some posts were still being made on the old server. Bam, switched over to the new server, and lots of posts are "missing".

I lost just one post, but this was in a cool discussion about why U.N. victory sucked. The entire thread seems to be gone ... And the 'Fix for corruption' thread (which was also quite interesting) lost about 15 posts from the last 36 hours. Definitely not random.
