Couldn't edit a post

Apparently there was a problem with a database, and an email has been sent to technical staff. What was it all about?

Third try at the edit sorted it out, but I am a bit perplexed.

Well it has done that to me before. Don't worry, the server is screwed, you just have to repeat the action and cross your fingers

Being the immaculate typer that I am I seldom make mistakes worthy of editing. (Howvere I soemtimes tpye so fadt that I make stupis errors.)

Why couldn't I edit though, was it server overload or just buggy. First time I have experienced the problem.
