The speed is also important for me, but for the moment
things look so promising that I dare still to suggest
the return of the avatars.

Thank you for your input on the availability of avatars in the forums.
We are not looking at the possibility of re-introducing them at this time. This option will be considered on a later date.

My custom avatar is really cool, but busy server messages are more uncool that that, so, no avatars if that solves the problem.

Well I most certainly would like to see the avatars return at some point in the near future, they were a nice touch.
