...and the number or registered users reach over 14000. Yet no newsitem has been posted.

Actually it is now up to 14086.

Also my avatar is disabled (among with all other avatars), and the speed is mush improved

It's good to see that Markos agrees that the problems had a dampening effect. Now lets get back to grwoing Poly.

My guess is we will reach 15,000 logins by the end of the day on Nov. 11th.

I say 15,000 by the early 12th Nov.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

"Frankly my dear I don't give a damn".

Gramphos, is the amount of new registered apolytoners
                your greatest concern?

I think there's so many other issues that should
                be solved first, IMHO.

                  Well, yes, maybe...
...like getting a copy of Civ3 as soon as it comes to Sweden...

It is always fun to see the community grow, the more users the faster you get a reply, and the more active i the forums.

Yes, but I think that Markos has handled the speed issue in a great way. Still there are other things that not yet is satisfying, as the colors of the links in the thread table headers.

True, but then we get more newbies.

                          No, but I have preordered.

Yes, it is bad that so many newbies doesn't read the FAQ. There should be a checkbox "I've read the FAQ to check before one can post."

That could perhaps be a good solution, but then there
would be needed a fulltime newbie guard.
