Everyone:

We are as frustrated as you are with the recent server problems. Server space and in particular bandwidth costs are high, and "moving to a different server" arguments etc. are not as simple an option as they may otherwise seem. Claims that we are sitting on our hands/refusing to act etc. are unfounded and to be honest frustrating in themselves.

I understand the position, growing in popularity, that views my and Markos' responses on this matter to date come across as being on a "broken record" agenda and perhaps even patronizing, but we are limited in what we can do. In doing so, I am letting you know on behalf of the Apolyton staff and administration that we hear your complaints and are taking action to the best of our abilities.

Your continued patience is greatly appreciated. If you would like to assist, please send your complaints directly to GameStats' Director of Technology, <A HREF="mailto:tonyb@worldchat.com">Tony Bolger</A>. Feel free to send a copy of it to both Markos and myself.

I've pretty much given up on Apolyton between 10AM and 8PM EST. I've been spending a lot of time here lately, but my modem isn't fast enough to keep reloading pages 40 times because the server can't deal with the workload. It's taken all the fun out of this place.
