I was wondering because I can access the chat from the forums page at work, but here at home I have to go through the chat link which brings up this god awful chat interface, not like the nice new one. Why is this?

markg took it out before the release party chat. i asked if it would reduce the load on the server but he was too busy to reply at the time (or he missed seeing the question). i assume that's why it was removed -
