Don't support Apolyton?

I'm sure other people have noticed this but no one seems to be fixing it so I'll bring it up. Underneath some of the banners are messages such as "Support Apolyton. Buy Civilization 3" but on the Civ3 main page (news page) the message under the banner reads "Don't support Apolyton. Don't visit this site." Is this a hack job? There's a smiley after the message so it might be a joke but I can't imagine the owners of the site taking the chance of pissing off their sponsors like that.
Anyone know?
