  • My altered avatar.....

Anyone know how to make the background transparent?

You could try to make a GIF image. I think that's the only compressed image format that supports transparency. Photoshop images do as well, but they are a bit big for the web

I don't think MSPaint does transparent backgrounds.

Gramphos, I'm gonna assume that you use Light style, and therefore can't see his avatar. Here it is.

No I thought that he meant a different, that one will not look good transparent. (at least not with civ3-style).

I think that's his altered avatar. It's a different colour than his old one, and it's animated. I'd do it myself, but my copy of PShop has refused to work lately.

                  Faboda,
If you used MS Paint, how did you get the gif to be animated? I wouldn't have thought MS Paint could do that. There must be a GIF animation program involved. You'd have to handle the tranparency there.

I've done it anyway, just to see if it is viewable

Well, it works on the light background. Lets test the second one.

It is very dark on the last one, but I can see it, so I guess it is okay.
