  • Apolyton (temporary) Curse Revealed!

When a thread get pushed off the bottom of page one (not yet tested for other pages) it does not show up at the top of page two until yet another thread (which in turn temporarily vanishes) goes off the bottom. Thus each thread as goes off the bottom of the page is temporarily undisplayed until followed by another victim into invisability. There is no other detected effect; I was able to access one such thread by using a last post link.

I noticed this with one thread it I was looking for then confirmed it by watching threads at the bottom of page one of OT.

Are you sure that page 1 and 2 were both properly refreshed?

        Lefty

        try hitting "refresh"

I've never experienced this problem, and have tested it. No dice.

Lefty is correct. I have noticed this effect on several occasions, and made a thread about it a couple of weeks ago:

I suspect it may have something to do with the topped threads, but this is unconfirmed.

I refreshed, went back and forth with refreshing, the one just off the leading page did not appear, until another one went down and pushed it on.

If we could see in the number of limbo threads was equal to the number of topped threads, that would establish a correlation.

First Poly had 3hr disruptions in the Space-time contimuum, now these invisible threads. What strange scientific experiments are being performed here? The public has a right to know!

This is dangerous, but nothing Mark can fix. We have to wait for the next version of vB

I too posted something about it a few weeks back - but it was ignored...

Well, I can confirm that two threads at a time are affected in AC-Multiplaying, and there are two topped threads there...
