We have lots of mods but noone to stand up for the down trodden poster. Would it be a good idea to appoint someone to defend the serial spammers?

The APD could act as an advocate, plea bargain, present mitigation and make appeals.

You'd have to appoint someone sympathetic to those who cannot live up to the Holy FAQ but at the same time with good links to the management.

Any reactions?

Why should anybody need somebodies else help to do that?
Are you implying that some members here are too stupid to do that? Are you implying that you might need help?

Again, this isn't a Democracy... This is a PRIVATE site, and the Owners can and will make the rules and enforce them anyway they see fit.
