  • Temporary Changing style.

I've fund out that I can change styles by writing in the address field current address&styleid=a number. 8=Civ3-default, and 9=Civ3-light.
Now that is mush faster then entering the CP every time. The only thing that doesn't make sense is that the styles change permanently (in my profile) Why? Is there anyway to just change for this one and only time?

    What R U talking about?
Rmns 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." John 3:16 "For God so loved so world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever beleives in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." KJV

He means that you can change the current style of forums by simply adding &styleid=# to the end of the current address, which saves time; the alternative is to click control panel; edit options; and then changing the style from there. It's pretty handy, for the occasion when you suddenly feel like changing your style.

I use to take a first look when I return to the forum after I've been away with the light style. When I've read all interesting threads that have changed I change to default style to see whenever someone new posts without remembering times or post# in the threads, just the last poster.

Styles give you different colors and/or settings for the forum layout.

Yes, mostly one do that, but sometimes the marks reset, and I also like to see who posted. And as there is no medium style I'll have my own solution.

And it is also good when browsing without logging in.

Normally you change styles in the Control Panel.
I canhe them by modifying the URL.

This thread has the url http://apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26361.
To change the style I add &styleid=iStyleID to the end of the URL.
This will change the style to Civ3-light
