  • What's with all the members with the reg date 1970?

Just wondering what the story behind that is.

In every, well almost , good fairytale, ex Lord of the Rings & Babylon 5, there are the old and wise ones to guide the younger ones...

Apolyton also want's to be a respectfull fairytale, so some members have been here since the birth of modern computer-era. They are your "wise" ones, listen and you shall learn...

Now you’re talking jeje, we didn't require personal computers for our presence on Apolyton.

Heck, some of us didn’t even need physical existence.

That's why it changed. I was wondering why it is now 1969, it's because I wandered into my apolyton control panel and set the time zone.

        Thanks Connor

There muist be some weird thing with the time zones messing up the order (how ironic is that? ). Then the board just organizes them by time and date. Though I haven't noticed any of that happeniong before.

Or I could just psychic or a time traveler.

there is a script that keeps track of when you registered. Those who registered before that script was added has the (presumably) default date of dec 31st 1969 or jan 1st 1970, depending on which time zone you live in.

when we still had UBB instead of vBB, those dates read "b.2-15-99" as that is when the script was added.

Even the time is wrong on your post Connor? Strange... there must have been a forepost made by your doppleganger before you got on that was wiped out when you logged on and made the same post.
