Btw, the "store" line makes the News@Apolyton manu stick out about 200 Pixels from the right edge of the screen and adds an unsightly horizontal scroll bar to the bottom of the page. IE5, 800x600.

Now the bottom of the pages is messed up. The links to other Poly sections (CtP2 standard style) are all scrunched up in a small (100 or so pixel) column which is at least 500 pixels tall. The bottom banner ad and the Hitbox counter are to the right of this, protounding circa 20 pixels to the right of the screen.

Also, perhaps the line break should be between Interviews and The, not between The and Column.

I think they want more than just click throughs, doing a little early Christmas (Mid Winter Evil Capitalistic Cosumeristic False God Stupid Holiday to you, Harrison) shopping, I pre ordered a dozen Civ3 through the Amazon link.

if you got a 468x60 banner at the bottom of the page it's a malfunction of the ad server that serves that ad. if you refresh you'll probably wont get again

and a click a day on the pre-mentioned ads is not something diffcult, is it?

The T-shirt banner on that page says "consequences, schmonsequeces", but i could not find such a shirt at the store.

Alas Lefty, they are all American companies, so I am not going to order from them and then pay an exorbitant international shipping fee, probably so much so that it would cost more than buying it in this country, and then there may be restrictions on where some software can be used (checks the location of your computer). And then there are American credit cards, which are damn useless to me over here in the UK...

Its apparently not the answer to the question of the day, and it is truly of great insignificance in any scheme of things, but since you got us looking closely at the screens, I noticed that there is something unasthetic about the way the various items in the header come out in my browser (ie5, 1024x768) view if it is not full screened. Once the width is narrow enough to make the "control panel ...thru... new posts" wrap, particularly if just the word "posts" is wrapped, the second batch of links, "apolyton store ...thru... chat" often appear misaligned, miscentered, whatever. Like I said, this is truly minor, but it does catch the eye if you are looking for something odd; perhaps it is just that right now there is an eBay ad with white space on the left bordering the top links line affecting the "look", or perhaps there are different amounts of minimum spacing specified in the two sets of lines so that they wrap a little differently.

yes, "consequences, schmonsequeces" is the "response" to the first "sentence" of the banner....

but there will be a "consequences, schmonsequeces" t-shirt soon....

what about 'one more post'? I always thought that was the most clever of the ones proposed.
